For my Final Major Project at University I've decided to go for an Art Deco inspired collection. One of my favourite eras, I'm very excited to get started with it all and have begun my research in the lovely Loughborough! so today I've been a 'deco perve' and had my eyes and Canon on the Art Deco Loughborough has to offer... these are a few of my favourites x

Exciting things have been happening in my blogsence (absence from Blogging). I have recently found out that I am one of four finalists in the David Nieper Fashion Acadamy Competition. So I have been shopping for outfits for a supper I am attending and a day with workshops and interviews that takes place in March. I cannot wait!
My “Royally Yours” collection got me through to the finals, and now hopefully I can win first prize and the 6 month internship up for grabs at the fantastic David Nieper Company in Alfreton, Derbyshire… Dream come true!
Today however, we have had our Tallulah Love Critique where we presented our lingerie and concept to the lovely Michelle Taylor. Mine took a little inspiration from Mr Mavin Gaye- I Heard it Through The Grapevine! (who would’ve known this is one of Michelle’s favourite songs!) I was Inspired by a beautiful vineyard I visited in Costock called Eglantine Vineyard- where I got a wealth of primary research to inform my lingerie designs. My final design featured box pleats, vintage ribbon knitting and finger-numbing french knot hand embroidery!
Since finishing my project I have uploaded the main body of work on my issuu profile..
